Fashion Editorial Photography: Continuous and Flash Light

 Workshop Date 4 Dec 2021, Saturday 10:00 - 18:00
Price: £200
This all-day masterclass will give you the chance to work on two different concepts. The first concept will allow you to master a combination of continuous lighting with flash, working with a slow shutter speed and experimenting with recording selective motion.

The second setup will give you the chance to work on your compositional skills. Using a landscape photographic backdrop, you’ll explore different ways of framing in the studio environment, developing new skills around composition and the ability to approach it in a fresh and innovative new way.

On arrival you will be welcomed by the studio manager and introduced to Nadia's work. Nadia will take you through each stage of developing a concept in response to a brief, using a real brief from Hunger magazine. Whilst Nadia demonstrates shooting the two looks, you’ll have the chance to witness how she communicates her vision, from styling and beauty to model direction. You’ll then have a chance to shoot the same looks yourself while Nadia monitors the process, offering advice and guidance where needed. After you finish shooting we will review the pictures together, giving you the chance to both give and receive useful feedback. The day will end with the opportunity to socialise and network.

All attendees will receive a student toolkit with information on all lighting setups covered.
